Setting warning indicator targets for behavior and attendance.
District Lead users have the ability to set target score ranges for behavior incident counts and attendance events. To do this, select the "Admin" option from the left menu in Proliftic, then click on "Warning Indicators."
When setting attendance event targets, users can choose from five color ranges. In the attendance section, it's possible to specify targets for excused absences, unexcused absences, and tardies. For behavior incidents, there are four standard color ranges available. Generally, having more attendance events or behavior incidents is undesirable, so—unlike test score targets—the "red" range typically reflects higher numbers, while "blue" represents lower numbers.
Schools record attendance either daily or by period, as configured in the student information system and provided to Proliftic during setup. Daily attendance schools track absences by day and half-day, while period attendance schools count them by period. Target ranges should match the selected method.
The targets you set on the admin's warning indicators page will determine the color coding on the attendance summary and behavior summary panels found in each student's profile.
These targets will color code results on One-Click reports and the Risk Report.
